Who would have ever thought that a seductive dancer (Zodwa Libram) would one day stand up in front of hundreds of church members and not only sway to the music but also get down in a very controversial dance which has been the object of a lot of speculation.

In time the pastor introduces their act and as we see in the video, DJ Tira starts by thanking the Pastor for allowing them to perform and then the DJ continues to sing what sounds like a kwaito-inspired Church song as the church-goers sit in silence shocked.

Instagrammers are not impresed:

In the Instagram posted video, DJ then proceeds to also promote the AfroSummer theme:
“Shout out to Bishop @dubevusi for welcoming us to his church @ethekwinicommunitychurch 🙏🙏🙏 @djboonu_bwc @paras_dlamini @lukentombela @zodwalibram @joocy_afro @afrotainmentsa @msenzisto @princebulo #AfroSummer17 iScathulo sosho yonke indawo… stay tuned #22Sept #AfroSummer17

“When I entered the door I thought I was going to burn.” The congregation bursts into laughs of joy.

As you can see in the video, the controversial dancer wastes no time, getting down to do i-vosho, where a dancer lowers their body into a semi-squatting position, and alternately opens their legs rhythmically while balancing on their toes literally. She does this right in front of the church goers who include children, married men, elderly and the respected church community.

And when they are done, the congregation takes selfies with the DJ Tira team.

However, turning the House of God into a disco club.

Remember the time when Christ chased certain people with a sjambok. Yes. We all do.

Well, who are we to judge?
